My understanding is You are getting error for SMTP

that is out going mail Server or (Error 553)

First Check the mail through Your Web Like

if you have xyz@gmail.com configured in Outlook

then check web i.e www.gmail.com - and check your mails there .. if its working good - then ther is no problems in web client

Now check You Outlook or Windows Mail - etc

Open Outlook Express or MsOutlook or Windows Mail etc

Ckick on Tools - Account - Click on Mail - select your mail - Click on properties(or Change) -

Check the Incoming mail server - POP address(if its Yahoo - pop.mail.yahoo.com)

Check the outgoing mail server - SMTP address(if its Yahoo- smtp.mail.yahoo.com) depends on your Internet Service Provider(ISP) --

the My server requires Authentication (tick the Box)

click on Settings and Chkec where Outgoing mail server Username and password is mentioned or not -- if not mention it or click on the box which says use the same for outgoing

Pleace check your username and password --

username should ne complete

password with Dots

Save it

Check sending 1 test mail

hope it will work
