What server is yahoo email supported by, pop3 , imap or http and what is smtp?

i made a vieo message to send to a yahoo buddy though outlook express as the default. i chose pop3 and put in smtp it kicked back error massages i dont know what i'm doing help me pls...............diamondq1163

For yahoo mail you need upgrade to yahoo mail plus to get


the full pop3 service for access to outlook,incredimail,


thunderbird, and others.


And use the new yahoo mail servers address.


* Incoming Mail Server (POP3): plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com


Use SSL, port: 995


* Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com


Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication
